We offer a complete service running a forage harvesting team, silaging grass, whole crop (direct cut header) and maize.

We use 6mtr cut mowers to cut grass which is then spread to achieve a rapid wilt, usually within 24hrs, achieving optimum dry matter content followed by an 8mtr rake. This is collected, chopped and loaded into trailers by our CNH FR600 forager. It is then transported to a pit where it is clamped by a rear-mounted 280hp tractor buck rake. This job is critical to the quality of silage and must be carried out correctly to achieve a well-consolidated clamp. Generally, 100 acres per day leaves spare capacity.

Alternative systems may dictate that silage is baled and wrapped depending on your requirements.
